Exhibition design by Nora Graw & Maja Ozvaldic; summer 2008

"The model is not that of transparency and structure but rather one of cuts, inserts, nip and tuck, the hand of a plastic surgeon that manipulates matter. The horrific transmutations of bodies and faces becomes the material organizations and design expertise." The studio exhibition was showing proposals of form generation as an autonomous entity by twenty floating models and twelve animations putting them into context.

technicolor bloom

BRENNAN BUCK

with Elizabeth Brauner, Eva Diem, Manfred Herman,
Maja Ozvaldic, Anna Psenicka and Sibila Rebek.

winter 2007

Technicolor BLOOM is an installation of layered spaces and flourishing surfaces which blossom with pattern and color. Taking on the contemporary architectural problem of how to give detail, structure and aperture to topological geometries, the project exploits the integration of surface morphology and surface pattern for its structural and aesthetic potential.  Like the proliferation of a bloom of algae on a smooth surface of water or a blooming rash on unblemished skin, the installation favors intense detail over seamless elegance. Maintaining precise control of visual effects such as blur, depth and figure, Technicolor BLOOM is a synthetic kaleidoscope of the literal and phenomenal effects of 3-dimensional pattern.

draw beograd

REAL PRESENCE 2004 (Beograd)

with Michaela Koller & Laura Helene Höjring

Draw Beograd is a project that operates with the technique of mapping but from a very personal point of view. We asked all kind of people, from the locals to the tourists,to map for us their perception of Beograd. As a result we created a personal map of Beograd that is not based on streets and houses but is rather a map of memories, impressions and stories. The result is a very personal and private insight into the city.
